Water cooled chiller indirect freezing in electroplation (oxidation) industry process



Water is pumped from the bottom basin of the cooling tower to the condenser of the chiller to cool it, and then flows back into the cooling tower, where it is sprayed down. The fan on top of the cooling tower cools the water and then flows back to the bottom basin of the cooling tower.Condenser cooling at the same time inside the refrigerant liquefication, and then into the evaporator for evaporation, evaporation to absorb heat, so the sulfuric acid (tank) in the evaporator for cooling, cooling sulfuric acid through the pump to the plating (oxidation) tank, such a cycle process.The cooled water is pumped to a heat exchanger (separated between water and sulfuric acid), and then the sulfuric acid is cooled through the heat transfer process, which is a cycle.The advantage of this product is that it is easy to install, the service life is relatively longer than that of direct freezing, and the chiller is not easy to be corroded by acid and alkali.

How to choose screw chiller unit 


1. The main control parameters of screw chiller are refrigeration performance coefficient, rated refrigerating capacity, input power and refrigerant type, etc.


2. The selection of chiller should be considered according to the cooling load and use.For the refrigeration system with long operation time under low load conditions, multi-head piston compressor unit or screw compressor unit should be selected to facilitate adjustment and energy saving.


3. When selecting chiller units, priority should be given to units with high performance coefficient.According to the statistics, the running time of chiller under 100% load is less than 1/4 of the total running time.The operating time proportion of 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% load in the total operating time is 2.3%, 41.5%, 46.1% and 10.1% respectively.Therefore, in the selection of chiller should give priority to the efficiency of the relatively flat curve model.At the same time, in the design selection should consider the chiller load regulation range.The multi-head screw chiller has excellent load performance, which can be selected according to the actual situation.


4. When selecting chiller, attention should be paid to the condition of nominal working condition.The actual cooling capacity of the chiller is related to the following factors:

A) cold water outlet temperature and flow rate;

B) inlet temperature, flow rate and fouling coefficient of cooling water.


5. When selecting a chiller unit, it should be noted that the normal operating range of this type of unit is mainly that the current limit of the main motor is the current value of the shaft power under the nominal working condition.


6.
