The function of refrigeration equipment is mainly to remove the heat from the object and its surroundings through the working cycle of the equipment, resulting in and maintaining a certain low temperature state. There are two main refrigeration methods:
1. Direct cooling
The evaporator of the refrigerator is installed in the box or building of the refrigeration device, and the air in it is directly cooled by the evaporation of the refrigerant, and the objects that need to be cooled are cooled by the cold air. The direct cooling speed is fast, the heat transfer temperature difference is small, the system is relatively simple, and the application is relatively wide.
2. Indirect cooling
Indirect cooling relies on the evaporation of the refrigerant in the evaporator of the refrigerator to cool the carrier refrigerant, and then the carrier refrigerant is input into the box or building of the refrigeration equipment, and the air in it is cooled through the heat exchanger. Although this cooling method has slow cooling speed, large total heat transfer temperature difference, and complicated system, it is generally used in salt water ice making and cold storage with constant temperature requirements.
