Where is the problem with lubricant spillage on the outside of the air compressor?
1.The oil seal is off or the oil seal is leaking.
2. The loose shaft causes the oil seal to leak.
3. The joint surface is leaking, and the inlet and return pipe joints are loose.
4. Over-tightening of the belt leads to wear of the main bearing shell.
5. Defects in casting or processing.
Fault diagnosis and elimination methods:
1. Check the oil seal for cracks, cracks or flanging on the inner lip. It should be replaced if there is one of the above situations; check the joint surface of the oil seal and the main shaft for scratches and defects, and if there are scratches and defects, they should be replaced. Check whether the oil return is smooth. If the oil return is not smooth, the crankcase pressure is too high to cause the oil seal to leak or fall off. You must ensure that the minimum diameter of the oil return pipe is not twisted or bent, and the oil return is smooth. Check the matching size of the oil seal and the box, and replace it if it does not meet the standard.
2. Move the spindle hard to check whether the neck gap is too large. If the gap is too large, the bearing bush and oil seal should be replaced at the same time.
3. Check the sealing condition of the seals of each joint, repair or replace the seals; check the bolts of the inlet and return joints and the threads of the box and tighten them.
4. Check and readjust the tightness of the belt, it is better to press the thumb 10 mm.
5. Check the defects in the casting or processing of the box (such as whether the oil return hole at the box installation is smooth), repair or replace the defective parts.
