The reason why the chiller has insufficient cooling capacity or slow cooling

Industrial chillers are the necessary equipment for industrial production nowadays, and each unit is inseparable from the participation of refrigerants during operation, so the shortage of cooling capacity will affect whether the machine can operate normally. If something goes wrong, it will cause a lot of trouble for use. The chiller has insufficient cooling capacity, or the cooling and cooling is very slow. When we encounter these problems, what should we do? Let us analyze the shortage of industrial chillers and the reasons for the slow cooling.

The reason why the chiller has insufficient cooling capacity or slow cooling:

1. The occurrence of this situation is related to the large loss of cooling capacity. Due to insufficient insulation thickness of the equipment and pipelines or damage to the insulation layer, the loss of cooling capacity is increased, which affects the cooling effect. In operation, once the outer surface of the insulation layer is found to have wet or frosted parts, it means that the thickness of the insulation material is insufficient or has been wetted. In this case, the insulation material should be added or replaced in time. In addition, the evaporator tank cover is not tight, the air treatment room or the cold storage seal door seal is damaged, the air supply air supply duct and the room door and window leak. It will increase the loss of cooling capacity and take timely measures.

2. When each chiller is installed, a layer of insulation cotton is placed on the evaporator and the pipeline to prevent loss of cooling capacity. If the unit is slow in cooling, the company must first check whether the thickness of the insulation layer of the pipeline is insufficient or whether the insulation is damaged. Be sure to pack the insulation cotton and make sure it is thick enough!

3. Check for air in the chiller refrigeration system. When installing a chiller, whether it is inside the unit, water pump, or pipeline, there should be no air, even if there is only a little air, the chiller is absolutely unable to operate normally. In addition, there is a film inside the pump, and you must remember to tear it off before installation. Otherwise, there is no way for water to circulate or flow slowly, which directly affects the operation of the chiller.
